Creator agreement

1. What this is.

You share Crownfall with your community. When your players buy on the Crownfall website, you earn a share. That is all this agreement covers.

2. Your code.

We give you one code. A player may type it once, on the Crownfall website.

Only a new commander can use it: a new account that has not bought on our website. One code per player, for good.

A player who types your code gets extra gold on website gold packs for a while.

3. Your cut.

You earn a share of what reaches us from each website purchase a player makes after typing your code, for a fixed time from the day they typed it. Your share is the one agreed with you when we approved you, and your Creator tab always shows it.

What reaches us is what the player paid, less VAT and less the card or store fee on that sale.

We round your cut down to the penny.

4. What counts.

Only purchases on the Crownfall website count. Purchases in the App Store or Google Play do not. Test purchases never count. A sale in a currency other than pounds waits until we check it by hand.

5. The hold.

Money you earn waits a set number of days after each sale before it counts toward your balance. This covers refunds.

6. Refunds take it back.

If a player gets a full refund or a chargeback, the cut on that sale comes off. If that happens after the hold, it comes off your balance, which can go below zero until later sales cover it. If a chargeback is later won back, we look at it and may put the cut back.

7. How you are paid.

• Gold: turn any of your balance into Crownfall gold at any time, at the shop's own rate: the gold the Coffer of Gold gives for its price, worked out when you take it. It goes into your game inbox straight away.
• Money: once your balance reaches the minimum, ask for it by bank transfer in your Creator tab. A bank request is always for your whole balance, one request at a time: a second waits until the first is paid. When you ask, we email you at the address you applied with to ask where to pay it; it then shows under Paid to you. Your bank details are never kept in the game.
• Statement: on the first working day of each month we email you a statement. Your Creator tab shows a statement for each month once there is one.
• You see how many players used your code and what they spent. You never see who they are.

8. Tax.

You are self-employed for this, not our employee. We pay you the full amount and take no tax off. Declaring it and paying any tax is yours to do.

9. Your rules.

• You are 18 or over, and you confirm it when you accept this agreement.
• Every post, video or stream that shares your code is marked as an ad: #ad.
• You don't promise features, updates or dates. Only we announce those.
• You don't pose as Kyvarr staff or speak for us.
• You don't use your own code, or ask anyone to make accounts just to use it.

If you break a rule, we pause your code and tell you why. While it is paused you earn nothing and can't cash out. Your balance stays yours. Players who already have your code keep their extra gold.

10. Changes.

If we need to change these terms, we tell you in writing first and put the new version on this page. You accept it here before your next cash-out. A change never takes away money you have already earned.

11. Ending it.

You or we can end this at any time, by a message in writing. On that day your code stops working, as a paused code does (clause 9). Money already earned still finishes its hold and stays yours. Because a paused code cannot cash out on its own, we settle it with you by hand: as gold, or by bank transfer once it reaches the minimum in clause 7.

12. Nothing else is promised.

We don't promise sales, players or any minimum. We can change the game, its prices and its shop.
